John Curtin wins Gemini CONGRATULATIONS!


22ND Annual Gemini Awards Open With Documentary, News and Sports Winners

First of three nights for Industry Awards

(Toronto, ON)  October 15, 2007– At the first of three industry award evenings, the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television awarded 29 winners in the Documentary, News and Sports categories. Tony Burman, winner of the Gordon Sinclair Award for Broadcast Journalism (announced earlier in October), also received his award as part of the evening’s celebrations.  The ceremony took place earlier this evening at the Liberty Grand Entertainment Complex in Toronto.
